A model for the development of professional competence of teachers of preschool educational organizations in the field of patriotic education of preschoolers

The article deals with the issue of professionalism of a teacher through the category of competence. The essence of the concept of «professional competence» and its significance for a teacher of a preschool educational organization is revealed. Based on the data of the study of the professional competence of preschool teachers in the field of patriotic education of preschoolers, which was conducted on the basis of the MDOО «Kindergarten№ 2 of general development type» in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk region in 2022, a model for the development of professional competence of preschool teachers in the field of patriotic education of preschoolers was developed, tested and described. The authors proceed from the fact that the proposed model is holistic, includes all the necessary components and implementation mechanism, which will ensure the development of professional competence of teachers of preschool educational organizations in the field of patriotic education of preschoolers.
