Concept modeling in translation: steps of cognitive-discursive analysis

The article attempts to explain the significance and effectiveness of employing cognitive- discursive approach to translation through concept modeling. Pre-translation source text analysis involves constructing a frame concept based on the source text. Further «overlapping» of the produced structure and the frame concept filled in with verbal representatives of the target language is viewed as a step of post-translation analysis (editing).
