Simulation of the process of deformation and fracture of saliferous rock samples under compression

An updated deformation criterion of fracture on the limitary main deformation as a function of the stress condition stiffness coefficient was applied to ANSYS numerical simulation of the process of compression of saliferous rock samples from Verkhnekamsky deposit. The paper presents analysis of growth areas of fracture of samples of different geometry. It also provides the corresponding "stress-deformation" curves, including the dropdown branch. Samples with argil laceous inclusions are considered
