Modeling of educational and cognitive activity of cadets in a stimulating environment of a military university

The article presents modern approaches to the professional training of future officers based on the improvement of personality traits such as cognitive independence and cognitive activity. The ways and means of improving the cognitive independence and cognitive activity of cadets in the stimulating environment of a military university are substantiated. The content of the selected approaches is revealed in order to analyze the types of educational and cognitive activities of cadets in solving the tasks of improving cognitive independence and cognitive activity among future officers. It is revealed that methodological approaches to improving cognitive independence and cognitive activity of cadets perform a set of functions: content-oriented, motivational-technological, organizationalenvironmental. The choice of methodological types of educational and cognitive activities and a set of actions for theirimplementation in the process of mastering the profile discipline “General military regulations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” is substantiated. A model has been developed forimproving the cognitive independence and cognitive activity of cadets in the stimulating environment of a military university, structured in accordance with the identified approaches (prognostic-methodological, cognitive-activity, procedural-stimulating), types of educational and cognitive activities (content-oriented, motivational-technological, organizational-environmental) and a set of components of actions (professionally-purposeful and meaningful-professional, motivationalpersonal and substantive-procedural, incentive-substantive and organizational-environmental).
