A region as a subject of the open international economics: sectoral and territorial approaches

The article deals with the issue of modernization of the industrial regional complexes, optimization of the sectoral structure of industry, renewal its technical and technological base, transfer to the new technologic structures. The author analyses the structural adjustment programme in the Russian Federation.
