Могут ли соседские связи оставаться важными для мигрантов в мегаполисах?

Несмотря на то что роль связей с соседями в жизни людей уменьшается, так как современные крупные города-мегаполисы предлагают в этом отношении слишком большой выбор, они не исчезли полностью, сохранив свою значимость для некоторых групп населения. В столичных городах мигранты поселяются в районах, в которых проживают мигранты из тех же стран, что и они. Эта ситуация представляет собой более сложное явление, чем социально-экономические факторы, и формы отношений, поддерживаемых внутри и за пределами своих районов, в разных группах мигрантов могут различаться. Цель данного исследования - выявить важность связей в сетях мигрантов в Стамбуле с людьми, проживающими по соседству в одном районе (квартале), и изучить типы этих связей в зависимости от их географической локализации. Результаты проведенного анализа наглядно доказывают концентрацию различных групп мигрантов в районах Стамбула, основное внимание уделяется международным мигрантам из Македонии и стран бывшей Югославии (регион Санджак), которые проживают в районах Байрампаша и Бешикташ, а также внутренним мигрантам, прибывшим из Анкары, крупнейшего мегаполиса, и соседнего с ней города Эскишехира и проживающих в Бешикташе. На основе анализа персональных сетей в исследовании сравниваются связи мигрантов с людьми, проживающими с ними по соседству, по характеристикам мигрантов и типу их локальных и нелокальных связей. Результаты выявили различия между группами мигрантов по степени их зависимости от связей с соседями и типы связей, которые различаются их географической локализацией.
