In the article, the authors reveal the role of motivation in the development of the pedagogical potential of the rural teacher of Mongolia. The study provides an analysis of the professional and educational activities of teachers in Mongolia. The factors affecting the professional growth of teachers are studied, it is revealed that motivation is a key point in the formation of a constant need for continuous professional development of teachers.
