The relevance of the problem of professional motivation formation of undergraduate students -future teachers is due to the social significance of the teaching profession for society development, the determining role of motivation for successful student learning, their professional formation, development and self-realization in the teaching field. The article reveals the potential of individualization of education and construction of individual educational trajectory (IET) by undergraduate students of a pedagogical university to form professional motivation. The author defines IET for undergraduate students - future teachers, substantiates the need to develop a special system of motivational support for IET in the educational environment of the university to form appropriate competence of students - an integral personal characteristic, including the ability to understand, evaluate and manage their own motivational states, assess and manage their own motivational states and apply self-motivation strategies to achieve planned learning and professional activities.
