Cartoons at lessons of Russian language as a foreign language as a means of the development of foreign sociocultural and communicative competence

The article deals with the analysis of the role of video materials while developing the skills of sociolinguistic and communicative competencies in the process of teaching Russian language as a foreign language. The authors consider the inclusion of the work with the precedent texts, the idioms, the phraseological units and the sayings into the lesson’s process, the voice acting of segments of movies and cartoons and the synthesis of role play and simulation as an efficient approach of teaching methods of the Russian language as a foreign language.
