Museum education and museum pedagogy in the Russian academic tradition and practice of museology: the scope of application of concepts and their content

The article analyses the basic concepts of the field associated with the museum education. Based upon the context and content analysis, the author distinguishes the basic parameters for clarification of definitions and suggests more accurate definitions of such concepts as 'museum education', 'museum pedagogy', 'educational activities in museum' and 'museum communication'.
