The influence of the Central Asia nomads' world outlook in the early stages of the Chinese civilization formation is rethought in in the cross-cultural communication context. The article deals with the functioning of the Tengrian calendar in conditions of the nomadic and settled culture. It also describes the role of music in the comogenesis of the Chinese and Kazakh cultures. The author also compare the versions of the origin of the musical instruments in Kazakh and Chinese mythology.
