N. A. Lvov and «Russian anacreon»

The article is devoted to main work of N.A.Lvov (1753 - 1803) as translator - «Anacreon» (1794). The book for the first time is described as complex, in view of its structure, comments and the editing made by preparation for the second (unfulfilled) edition. The purpose of research is explanation of specificity of Lvov's poetic translation concept and his understanding of anacreontics' essence.
