The article deals with the comparison of the English, German and Russian ethnic and linguistic cultures from the perspective of the peculiarities of their nonverbal behavior. There is revealed its national and cultural specificity by the means of the analysis of the free and fixed collocations, reflecting the emotional state of people in the process of the interpersonal communication of the considered nations.
