The focus of the historical process in the context of global-regional interaction

The article analyzes one of the main issues of substantival philosophy of history - the issue of the focus of the historical process in the context of modern theory of knowledge, global-regional interaction overcoming the one-sidedness of both classical and non-classical concepts of its understanding. We point the urgency of the problem under study based on the review of the controversy of supporters of the formational and civilizational approaches in modern Russian philosophy. Based on the methods of historical reconstruction and comparative analysis we reveal the specific features of linear-bottom-up focus of the historical process taking place in Marxism and Hegelianism. We provide the characteristic of topological concepts of understanding “world history” by Danilevskii and Toynbee, showing their contribution to identifying the role and importance of the ratio of the general and the accidental, the universal and the national. The research novelty is that it carries out a conceptual synthesis of positive aspects of classical and non-classical approaches to understanding the focus of the historical process in the context of modern world development based on the analysis of the concepts of the Wallerstein world-system approach, Robertson glocalization and “global modernities”...
