Coach technology focus on developing successful professional activities of police officers

The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The relevance of the article is determined by the high level of complexity and responsibility of the professional activities of police officers. Accordingly, the security of our country depends on the quality of professional development of law enforcement officers. Updating of methods and means used in adult education is associated with personally-oriented technologies. On this basis, the goal associated with ensuring the orientation of the coaching technology on the development of the success of professional activities of police officers is highlighted. The review of scientific researches demonstrating wide possibilities of coaching in the system of professional development and psychological and pedagogical support of police officers in domestic and foreign practice is presented. The methodology is defined by S. Covey's provisions for a highly effective personality, whose peculiarity is continuous development at different levels (intellectual, social, physical and spiritual). The coach technique “Wheel of balance” was used as the research methods. The empirical study shows the average success rate of police officers, especially beginners and enders of their professional careers. Coach methods are offered as research results: balance wheel, intelligence card, GROWS and Cartesian questions. The detailed description of the proposed methods with visualization is presented. The possibilities of their application in the advanced training system of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs are described. The scientific novelty lies in the substantiation of the complex application of coaching technology to solve the problem of developing the success of professional activity of police officers. Practical importance is associated with the applied nature of the proposed coaching methods and the possibility of their use in the system of professional development of police officers. Opportunities and limitations of the proposed coaching technology are discussed.
