Adverbs of time in the modern Russian language as an object of linguistic research

The article deals with the adverbs of time in the Russian linguistics. We have analyzed the coverage of studies of the semantics of lexical units representing time in the Russian and other languages and linguocultures, revealed the ways and approaches to describing temporal indicators, established the key stages and directions for the development of temporal representations in linguistics, and determined the specifics of the categorization and conceptualization of time, as well as models implementing them. The article describes the main properties of time, which are reflected in the semantics of adverb units. The object of the study is the adverbs of time. It is noted that adverbs of time occupy a core area in the studied lexical-semantic field, serve as specific indicators of time (indicate a certain moment or duration of action), and are used to correlate actions and situations on the time axis relative to each other or other reference points. The relevance of the research lies in the general; - ization of the results of studying the adverbs of time, the description of the system of semantic and pragmatic relations. In the article, we have considered the adverb of time "tomorrow" in more detail in connection with the need for a semantic and pragmatic description of this adverbial word in its current state.
