The subject or the article is the family’s memory analyzed through genealogical tree and family history text. There were obtained some arguments toward the idea that the term «collective memory» can be used as scientific term. There were also gained the empirical evidences of social determination of family’s memory. For example family’s memory deletes in the first turn the names of such members, whose qualities contradicts to the unconscious culture’s attitudes and stereotypes. So, according to such idea it is of high risk that we’ll find in forgetting zone females but not males, those members of multigenerational family who did not go through marital and parent initiation and those who became relatives by marriage, but not by blood.
