Lecturer’s research activities in academic process of higher education institution

The purpose of this study is to review the problem of lecturer’s research activities in the academic process of higher education institution, identify the main features of its development and the implementation technologies and methods. The important factors that explain the need to improve the professional skills of a lecturer include the impact of globalization on innovation in all areas of life, the changing social, cultural and economic situation, the obsolescence of knowledge due to the enhancement of information flow. In this regard, greater emphasis is being given to research activities of a lecturer who is ready to apply the professional skills, be highly productive and effective, respond to changed circumstances appropriately, solve unique challenges, be responsible for the results of his professional activities.
