Scientific and educational corporation as the basis of the state’s venture policy

The author analyzes in the article the possibilities of the domestic venture market in the eld of science and education. Over the past two decades, the Russian higher education system has eventually led to the emergence of scienti c and educational corporations that have accumulated signi cant intellectual and material resources under a single management. The very de nition of a scienti c and educational corporation is just beginning to enter public discourse and has not yet become a term of normative acts. At the same time, the presence in the activities of scienti c and educational associations of a number of formal features that meet the de nition of "corporation" indicates the beginning of a new stage in the development of the domestic innovation environment. Scienti c and educational corporations emerging in the Russian Federation are becoming signi cant players in the domestic venture capital market. Today, there is an obvious need to legislate the concept of a "scienti c and educational corporation", which will create preferences for the development of this innovative sphere of domestic science and education.
