Scientific and everyday approaches to the definition of "intelligence" concept

The interest in intelligence is determined by its integrative role in human life, a key element of person's professional success. The article deals with the differences in interpretation of intelligence concept in everyday life and scientific researches. The author believes there is a need to incorporate everyday notions of intelligence, namely its relation to moral and ethical qualities, in the scientific approach to the intelligence study.
