The transformation of scientific discourse of the idea of unified History textbook in post-Soviet Russia with a focus on the period of the 2013-2014s is analyzed. It is concluded about the complex interaction of external and internal factors in the development of school teaching historical texts and the consequences of this process for the consolidation of historical education in Russia.
