Some Personal Factors of the Formation of A. A. Kireev as a Thinker

The historical context of A. A. Kireev’s childhood, youth and middle years is considered. The factors of his formation as a philosopher and social thinker in the first fifty years of his life, before his entry into the arena of journalism and polemics, are analyzed. For the first time, some data and sources about Kireev’s ancestors and parents, about his childhood and educators, about relations with Emperor Nicholas I and the Slavophiles, about his personal life, as well as honorary titles, orders and awards are introduced into scientific circulation. The influence of Alexander Kireev’s life experience gained on his transformation of into a prominent Russian thinker is demonstrated.
