Some measures to prevent crimes in the sphere of public procurement of goods, works, services to meet state or municipal needs at the public social level

Objective. The publication presents the results of the study of modern measures of crime prevention in the sphere of public procurement of goods, works, services to meet state or municipal needs at the general social level, as well as their feasibility and effectiveness. The study used general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction) and special scientific (historical, sociological) methods of cognition, as well as the method of content analysis of law enforcement practice. In the process of preparing the publication, the provisions of the theory of crime prevention at the general social level, as well as the provisions of criminological determination were used. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the system of crime prevention at the general social level in the sphere of public procurement requires optimization. Findings and conclusions: the materials of the publication can be used for further critical analysis of the criminological tools for preventing crimes in the sphere of public procurement.
