The specific features of the teaching and educational process in women gymnasiums of the Podolsk and Dmitrovsky districts of the Moscow province in the second half of the XIX th - the beginning of the XX th centuries

Based on the analysis of the archive materials, the peculiarities of the organization of the teaching and educational process in the women’s gymnasiums of the Podolsk and Dmitrovsky districts of the Moscow province of the turn of the XIX - XX th centuries are considered. There are mentioned the educators, having influence on the development of the educatees’ personalities. The author presents the teaching guides that they used to develop the independent way of thinking of students.
