Several methods of developing creative needs of students studying the Chinese painting (Guohua)

The paper reviews the guidelines of the original methods for developing adults’ artistic and creative needs in Chinese art classes and defines the key evaluation criteria for Chinese-inspired works of adult art studio members. The study describes the goals of the author’s program for teaching guohua, which has an artistic and aesthetic nature and introduces adult artists of the art studio to the traditional Chinese painting, its various styles and genres, the peculiarities of basic artistic techniques, the traditional tools and materials. The author notes that the well-chosen and individual-based teaching methods and techniques have an effective impact on the level of a sustainable interest in art activities, contribute to the development of artistic abilities through the study of another country’s art and the adult students’ drive for personal fulfilment.
