Continuous musical education as a basis for the development of performing qualities

The article is devoted to the characteristics of the manifestations of the main performing qualities and their components. The author examines the history of the development of institutions of continuous musical professional education as an example of the most effective conditions for the development of performing qualities and substantiates four main performing qualities: musicality, musical creativity, musical empathy and emotional stability. The article analyzes the structure of these qualities, their manifestations, individual for each quality separately, and provides a description of the components inherent in all four basic performance qualities: musical perception, musical thinking, musical imagination, musical memory, musical attention and emotional responsiveness to music. Among the manifestations of performing qualities are: musical-auditory representation, inner hearing, modal and musical-rhythmic sense, reliability in concert performance, stress resistance, will, motivation, artistry, empathy.
