New aspects of ultrasonic diagnostics, before intra and after the operational navigating control of a carpal tunnel syndrome

Objectives: The purpose of this work is studying of the basic criteria of an ultrasonic semeiology of a carpal tunnel syndrome. Problems consist in definition of terms of revealing of communications between quantity indicators of the dimensions of a nerve and conductivity indicators on motor and sensory fibers and -specification of terms of carrying out of ultrasonic monitoring. Research technique Ultrasonic and electromyographic research of median nerves at 207 patients with a tunnel carpal syndrome at stages of diagnostics, operational treatment of 10 patients and postoperative monitoring is carried out. Analysis of correlations between the data obtained with instrumental methods and neurophysiological indicators is carried out. The basic terms of ultrasonic monitoring are established. Conclusion It is established, that the area of cross-section section correlates with the value of a residual latence. Ultrasonic monitoring must be carried in terms of 1 month after an operative measure and not earlier than 4-6 months after neurolisis. It is established, that this method is necessary for using in diagnostics, as well as in monitoring of patients with presence or suspicion on a carpal tunnel syndrome.
