"New man" as a historical and pedagogical phenomenon

The article deals with the construction “new man” as a pedagogical product created in the context of the global projects of social engineering. There is stated that the intention of upbringing a “new man” isn’t considered to be the marker of totalitarianism of the organizers of the educational system but proves the tendency to create the subject of progressive development and the moral renewal of the society.
