On the form and content of comics journalism (based on the graphic novel "Palestine" by Joe Sacco»)

The author analyzes selected moments from Joe Sacca’s graphic novel «Palestine», considering it not only as a fiction book, but also as a full-fledged journalistic reportage. The article shows what opportunities does such a format as comics journalism offer to the viewer and why is it so well suited for describing and talking about traumatic events.
