In this article, we have considered the lexical features of the transfer from the Mongolian written into the Buryat language of the archival documents of the Yangazhinsky datsan from the found 454. Op.1. D.1. "Atsagatsky, Tugnu-Galtaisky, Chesansky, Egituisky, Yangazhinsky datsans" of the State Archives of the Republic of Buryatia. The relevance of our work is due to the fact that in the modern conditions of the national revival of small peoples, the revaluation of values in spiritual culture, the study of manuscripts in Mongolian writing is of particular interest. After all, archival documents represent reliable information left by our predecessors about various aspects of the formation and development of a certain clan, society, nationality, etc. With an increase in the avail-ability of this information, the scientific, historical value of archival materials increases accordingly. In the manuscripts, phrases consisting of mixed Buryat-Russian words, Buryat archaisms, an abundance of so-called "Russisms" — borrowed words from the Russian language written in Mongolian script were found.
