The article discusses development of students’ creative abilities in the system of continuous education on the basis of the Federal state educational standard of secondary vocational education. The author believes, that creation of favorable conditions only isn't enough for education of a personality with advanced creative abilities, it requires purposeful work on development of creative potential.
