On some nonlinear generalization of the Leslie model considering the effect of saturation

This paper studies the general properties of mathematical models of non-stationary (evolving) systems with pseudoconcave step operator, reflecting the "saturation effect" (resource constraints). The results are applied to study some new generalizations of the Leslie model of the dynamics of the age structure of population.
