On Some Problems of Operational and Service Activities of Police Patrol and Guard Service Units

The relevance of the issue under consideration is due to the urgent need to improve the efficiency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in conditions of increased shortage, political tension in the external political sphere, which negatively affects the effectiveness of certain areas of activity. The paper notes that improving the efficiency of the Russian Interior Ministry units is possible by reforming the regulatory framework in order to achieve optimal results. The research methodology is reduced to the analysis of available general scientific and legal sources that ensure the objectivity of studying the practice of public order services in certain areas of work. As a conclusion, it is reasonably noted that in relation to the patrol and post service of the police, increasing the efficiency of activities is directly related to the functions and tasks specified in the regulatory legal acts. At the same time, the main conclusion is the postulate of the need to increase the effectiveness of interaction between state, municipal bodies and individual citizens with the PPSP units in matters of crime prevention and law enforcement.
