Social significance of vocational guidance work

The issues of choosing a profession are relevant at all times, since professional self-determination is key not only in terms of future employment, but also for self-actualization of the individual. Currently, there is a problem of contradiction between the demand for a particular profession in the labor market and the professional self-determination of students in general education schools. Every year the problems of sociological research aimed at studying the value orientations of school students, the factors of socialization and socio-professional orientation of Russian youth are updated. The purpose of the study is to analyze the social significance of vocational guidance.
