About problems of culture and education in a postmodernism context

Culture became a special kind of consumption in the 20th century. Mass culture moved into the first place as cooperative culture. But in the 21st century changes indicating an alteration in the cultural situation has begun to show. The problem of choice of stand in life is getting solved in a new way, response to individual searches of “the I inside” occurs in culture, mass culture is losing ground. This is why the necessity of changes and reforms appears at cultural and educational levels. These changes appeal to assist a personality for discovering its social roles and mental reference points in a society. The search of new approaches to culture and education, the elaboration of a competitive system, the development of alternative projects evolving the idea of culture prestigiousness, literacy and education are to become part of a considered national culture policy.
