On the term "language policy" within the integrated ethnosociopsycholinguistic paradigma

The article discusses the place of the term "language policy" in the integrated ethnosociopsycholinguistic paradigm of studying the state of language in the context of linguistic heterogeneity. The correlation of identity problems to the sphere of public consciousness allows us to show changes in the semantic content of the term "language policy", its extension (in the works of the past two decades). Modern ethnolinguistic processes, democratization of society influence the attitudes of the subjects of language policy. The differentiation of language policy actors from grassroots (local or family) to the state, international policy conditioned by the development of civil society in the Russian regions inspires hope for deployment of a new stage in constructive language planning and language construction in multi-ethnic regions of the Russian Federation with subjects interested in effective language policy.
