Considering the issue of genre boundaries of fantasy and science fiction

The genre features of science fiction and fantasy, allowing to distinguish the works of these genres, are considered. The basic criteria for genre demarcation are the nature of motivation of admission/ convention (rational and irrational), the difference in the content and theme of works, the setting for veracity of described events (possible/ certainly impossible) and the quantity of sendings (one or several).
