Ensuring the Rule of Law and the Rights of Participants in Criminal Proceedings

Despite the abundance of research devoted to the rights and freedoms of participants in criminal proceedings, the diversity of this subject remains of great interest to scholars. It encompasses a number of key institutions, and the interweaving of substantive and procedural law reveals the complex structure of the field. This article provides a general overview of the regulations ensuring the rights of participants in criminal proceedings following legal reforms in Kyrgyzstan and offers perspectives on improving current legislative activity.
