Ensuring Agency in the Gray Zone

This article analyzes the key challenges to ensuring the Russian Federation's agency in the global gray zone – a transitional state of international relations characterized by the erosion of traditional norms and institutions. The author pays particular attention to the crisis of Western agency, the problem of borrowed political discourse in Russia, and the role of mental warfare as a strategic tool in global confrontation.
