Рассмотрена связь обмороков и риска внезапной сердечной смерти (ВСС) с характером основного заболевания. Представлены данные о связи обмороков и риска ВСС с механизмом развития синкопальных состояний. Даны критерии обмороков с высоким риском ВСС. Приведен алгоритм диагностики синкопальных состояний в соответствии с рекомендациями Европейского общества кардиологов (2009).
