The image of the forget-me-not flower in the fictional discourse of G.R. Derzhavin and M.Yu. Lermontov

The article deals with the symbolic loading and the fictional and functional loading of the flower image in “Nezabudochka” (1809) by G.R. Derzhavin, “Nezabudka” (1830) and “Julio” (1830) by M.Yu. Lermontov. There is specified the attitude of the poets toward the fictional tradition of the comprehension of the image of the flower with the self-explanatory name.
