The visual construction “old man and old woman” in the Russian and Hungarian novella of the end of the 1960s – 1970s

The article deals with the consideration of the general traits and peculiarities of the implementation of the plot prescribed by the archetype image “the old man with the old woman” in the novellas of the Russian and Hungarian writers of the 1960s – 1970s. There is concluded about the presence of the unquestionable similarity of the discourse and technique of the narration in the authors’ works belonging to the different national and cultural environments.
