Formation of compounds with the general semantics of the birds names based on the attributive relations of the components in the Altaian language

The article deals with the formation of the compounds with the general semantics of the birds’ names on the basis of the attributive relations of the components in the Altaian language. There are revealed the traits that are in the basis of the ornithonyms’ formation. There are established the ways of their formation. The naming of birds is carried out on the basis of the motivation traits connected with form and size, movement character and behaviour, colouring, inhabitation, etc.
