The paper substantiates the relevance of the implementation of entrepreneurial activity by the population of the Russian Federation. The current educational models for mastering entrepreneurial competencies applied in the world’s leading universities are presented. The study investigates the features of the implementation of the relevant practice in the conditions of Russian higher education. The essence of the terms “educational envi-ronment” and “educational ecosystem” from the position of implementation of an entrepreneurial behavior model among students is considered. The modern requirements for the implementation of the educational process have been substantiated. The level of development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Sevastopol State University is analysed. The diagnostic results provided the basis for the development of recommendations to improve the entre-preneurial ecosystem of the university. The presence of interest and motivation to implement the entrepreneurial educational trajectory is highlighted as one of the key factors for the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Sevastopol State University.
