The article considers and models the methodological aspects of using blogs with-in the task of identifying directions for effective use of blogs in education. We have presented a model of detailed classification of educational blogs into types with identification signs in the form of models for educational activity arrangement. Modeling of the line of ranking varieties of concrete-learning blogs by the pedagogical value was carried out on the basis of their assessment according to the qualification criterion of their pedagogical efficiency.
