Educational Technologies: Experience of Implementing Project Activity Technology in Training Residents

The article delves into the study of the possibilities of project activity technology in training highly qualified personnel in residency programs as an effective tool for developing professional competencies. The practical implementation of this technology in the educational process is shown. The analysis of the results of social projects completed by residents is presented, which showed that most residents successfully completed the task, the sum of the shares of “good” and “excellent” grades is on average 89 % over 4 years. This suggests that the task is accessible for implementation and corresponds to the level of training of students. Based on the results obtained, conclusions are made that in the process of working on a social project, such professional competencies as systemic thinking, the ability to work in a team, the formation of professional and personal qualities of a doctor such as empathy, responsibility, social responsibility, leadership occur. Thus, the use of project activity technology through the development of social projects is an important stage in the formation of a resident as a thinking, responsible and sought-after specialist, ready for active participation in the development of the healthcare system.
