The article analyzes the circumstances that determine the nature and degree of social danger of a deliberately false denunciation.It has been established that the nature and degree of social danger of a deliberately false denunciation is determined by the fact that, along with the interests of justice and the activities of law enforcement agencies to prevent, suppress, disclose and investigate crimes, a deliberately false denunciation can cause significant harm to the rights and freedoms, as well as the legitimate interests of citizens.
