General and phonetic regularities in preschool children reading

The main regularities of mastering reading by preschool children are examined in the light of modern ontolinguistics. These regularities allow to identify the features of Russian language graphical and orthographic systems. Exploration of the above regularities helps to solve the problem of age possibilities and prospects of mastering theoretical knowledge by schoolchildren.
