Teaching students self-control of speech habits considering individual language abilities (based on German language)

The article is concerned with teaching university students self-control of foreign language speech habits considering their individual language abilities. Groups of exercises instrumental in developing self-control strategy for improving grammar, lexical and phonetic skills are presented and analysed. Necessity for further development of teaching methodology focused on training self-control in productive and receptive types of speech is reasoned.
