Обзор англоязычной литературы об иронии в священном писании Ветхого Завета (конец XIX - начало ХХI вв.)

Проблема иронии в библейских текстах всё чаще поднимается в библейской науке. В западной библеистике эта тема начала получать освещение довольно давно. Настоящий обзор англоязычных библейских исследований стремится восполнить отсутствие в отечественной науке системного взгляда на проблему. В статье приведены наиболее цитируемые англо-язычные работы по проблематике иронии в Ветхом Завете, в завершение обзора представлена попытка выделения основных направлений исследований в избранной теме и обозначены ветхозаветные сюжеты, наиболее востребованные с точки зрения иронического прочтения. Хронологические рамки исследования охватывают период с конца XIX в. до 2016 г. Основным положительным результатом работы можно считать привлечение внимания читателей к значительному числу (свыше 65) малоизвестных и узкоспециальных текстов, посвященных проблеме присутствия и считывания иронии в Священном Писании. На русском языке это одна из первых академических работ, посвящённых проблеме исследования библейской иронии.
